You no longer need to fuss with tweezers, razors, wax depilatories, or painful electrolysis.  This advanced approach provides the ultimate long-term solution for men and women.  Approximately 5-8 treatments are needed depending on the area being treated, the hair density with in that area, and the hair growth cycle.  Only hair follicles in the Anagen growth phase at the time of each treatment are affected by the laser(usually 20-30% in a given area).   The number of treatments necessary to achieve your desired results will vary based on your skin type, hair color, and texture.

A gentle pulse of light is emitted directly into the hair follicle, which absorbs the light energy, which destroys the follicles ability to re-grow hair.  The energy is selectively absorbed only in the follicle, leaving the skin in tact.  Since several follicles are being treated at once, this method is ideal for all areas of the body.

The treatment will start by preparing the skin with a cool gel.  Once the skin is prepped, a hand-piece will be used to scan the area being treated, emitting gentle pulses of light energy to the follicle.  As the pulse occurs, you may experience a mild stinging sensation, but the discomfort will only last a second.  Once treatment is complete, you can resume your normal daily activities immediately.

You will notice very little change for approx 2-3 weeks.  Many clients go through a virtually hair–free period at this point, which may last about 2 weeks.  Re-growth will occur after this period, only with hair follicles not in the Anagen growth phase during previous treatments.  Shaving is recommended between treatments which are approximately 6-8 weeks apart.  After each treatment your skin may be slightly irritated, and very sensitive to any type of sun exposure, natural or otherwise.  Be sure to avoid any exposure for at least a 2 week period, and wear sunscreen SPF 35 or higher on treated areas.
